About Us

Our food blog celebrates local, seasonal, and sustainable cooking — all powered by big flavour. We focus on building bold, memorable dishes using spices, marinades, rubs, dips, and smart cooking techniques that bring out the very best in fresh ingredients from the garden and the grill.

Here you will find recipes that our family loves, and we hope you find your favorites here too! We’re so excited about building this resource together and that you, our lovely reader, enjoy these recipes as much as we do! We hope that you try new things and incorporate new flavors and ideas into your food creations.

Let’s begin our journey together! ♥

Some Interesting Facts About Us

We’re both teachers here in Canada — Cheryl in Ontario and Madi in Alberta — and despite the distance, food (and the internet!) keeps us connected.

We both love fitness… though one of us definitely spends more time at the gym than the other. We’ll keep the mystery alive.

Most importantly, we both love the Lord, from whom all blessings flow, and we’re grateful every day for the good things He’s placed in our lives. ♥
